Each moment is the meeting place between two eternities. Have you ever been so wrapped up in doing something that it is as if time is standing still?
There’s a part in all of us that is bigger than time and space and longs to be deeply and positively engaged with life. The Old Book says that ‘God has placed eternity in the heart of man.’ The Old Book also says “There is a time for every purpose under heaven.”
From birth to death we’ve been given moments that either our self-centred pre-occupations will have us blind to, or our heart’s core will have us have us connect profoundly with. One of life’s greatest challenges and joys is to discover what’s really important – what has an eternal dimension to it – and to harmonize with the meaning of the moment.
